The best version was supposed to be the PS3, it was touted as being 1080p60fps, but despite even the box saying 1080p, its clearly 720p. ![]() I know theres the Goldeneye Source, but it definitely has that Valve feel and is lacking a singleplayer campaign, and the sound isnt as good as what was achieved with the Reloaded release either. As much as I liked it, a controller definitely doesnt feel proper with FPS. I just wanna be able to play it where I can move the crosshairs and camera at the same time. ![]() I was a big fan of Goldeneye in the day but Perfect Dark outdoes it in every way. Its huge how much more they did with level design and the sound as well, its phenomenal, even for the N64 era. I dont have an XBOX kicking around though so will have to go with the 20-25fps avg N64 version lulz User Info: Kerr Avon Kerr Avon 2 years ago 5 Goldeneye 007 Reloaded is basically Call of Duty with a Bond theme. It wasnt nearly as bad as I was expecting, but other than the graphics and frame-rate (and also running on a machine where the joypad had two analogue sticks) is was inferior to the original Goldeneye game in every way, especially fun and replayability. I agree about Perfect Dark, to this day its still my favourite ever game. Im a PC and console gamer - I love good games, regardless of their host system. I shall ascend to the heavens. Goldeneye 007 Reloaded is basically Call of Duty with a Bond theme. Nah. I played the original shortly before booting this one up. Reloaded is fine. The N64 version is better in memory than it actually plays. It was huge for console shooters at the time, but lets not oversell it. The issue is when the framerate does bomb in levels, its atrocious and stays low for a good while.
